On May 28th, the HBS Club of Pittsburgh hosted nearly 250 alumni and interested members of the business community to paricipate in a conversation with Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O'Connor on his vision for the city's economic future — what it will take to attract and retain great companies, develop the next generation of Pittsburgh talent, and make the region the most compelling place in America to invest and grow.

Our first event of the program year typically is a Member/Guest dinner in September  at a classic Pittsburgh restaurant.  Bar Marco in the Strip is a favorite!

Audrey Russo, President & CEO of the Pittsburgh Technology Council described Pittsburgh's rapid growth in the tech economy and what the future holds for the region.

The Club hosts "happy hours" during the program year.  The first Happy Hour is always part of  HBS Global Networking Night.  The Pennsylvania Market is a occasional happy hour destination.

With so much being digital, "factory visits" are hard to find.  But we toured the Homestead factory for Millie's Ice Cream and were shown the inside scoop by founder Chad Townsend.

In December, we host an Annual Economic Forecast with long time PNC Chief Economist Stu Hoffman.

A business talk with Astrobotic, a Pittsburgh based outer space commercialization company, and a museum tour at the new Moonshot Museum highlighting America's return to the Moon.

HBS alums enjoyed a tasting of some the world's finest scotches at the AHYP Club.  And even came dressed for the occasion!
