HBSAP Exclusive: What Pittsburghers are Thinking about the COVID-19 Pandemic

Campos recently completed a survey that looks at Pittsburghers’ emotions, concerns, and opinions about the way the crisis has upended daily life and work, their views of leaders and institutions, and other impacts. The results show how the dramatic reshuffling of daily life varies among different groups—such as millennials or independent voters—and among those with different incomes, education levels, or levels of concern. 

There is immense worry, staggering job loses, loss of productivity among those still working, high regard for medical researchers and the governor, low approval of the president and Congress, and more. We are all operating in a world with which we have no prior experience, so it's an important moment to try to deeply understand what people are thinking and feeling with regards to this crisis.
