About the event
Join recent HBS graduate, Washington, PA native and current Pittsburgh resident Brian Linville for an overview of Harvard Business School's efforts to better engage with the American Heartland.
In the past decade, HBS dedicated significant resources to making its cases and curriculum less US –centric. This effort included the establishment of research centers around the globe. It also entailed the rolling out of the Field Global Initiative immersion program. However, there was also a gap in the school's focus - - the Admissions Office was essentially excluding America Outside the Acela Corridor and the Bay Area. Brian’s talk will inform HBSCP members on two important new initiatives upon which Brian and Harvard are collaborating. The Zoom will open at 5:00 pm with Brian's remarks starting at 5:30PM followed by Q&A.
