HBS Club of Pittsburgh Annual Meeting & Summer Happy Hour

Our Annual Meeting and Summer Happy Hour will be at the historic Mansions on Fifth!  The Annual Meeting will be held on June 27 commencing at  5:00pm in the Library at Mansions on Fifth.   Over  a fabulous selection of hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, we will elect Officers and Governors for the 2024-25 Program year. Members are invited to join us for this event and a chance to re-connect with Pittsburgh area alums and visit one of Pittsburgh's grand buildings!  And you're welcome to bring a guest!  As always, thank you all for being Members of the HBSCP and being part of the Pittsburgh area HBS community!

About Mansions on Fifth:

The stretch of Fifth Avenue in Shadyside where the Mansions on Fifth sits was once known as Millionaire’s Row, home to families with last names including Westinghouse, Carnegie, Frick and Mellon.  Today, many of the opulent structures are gone, but a 20,000-square-foot mansion remains. The mansion was commissioned by Willis McCook — legal counsel to industrialist Henry Clay Frick — and his wife Mary in the early 1900s. The couple lived there with their 10 children. Designed in the Elizabethan Revivalist and Tudor style by the architectural firm Carpenter & Crocker, the Fifth Avenue House was completed in 1906 for the total cost of $300,000.  Mansions is now a boutique hotel  and was registered as a historic landmark by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in 2012.   Learn more about the history of Mansions on Fifth here.
