About the event
Wigle Whiskey is a small-batch, craft whiskey distillery in the Strip District neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Wigle was founded in 2011 and was the first distillery in the City of Pittsburgh since Prohibition. Wigle Whiskey is the most awarded craft distillery by the American Craft Spirits Association for the past decade. We will be joined by special guests Meredith and Alex Grelli, the entrepreneurs who created and grew the Wigle business, eventually selling to Pirates owner, Bob Nutting, in 2022. Meredith and Alex are going to share the story of this truly iconic Pittsburgh business, including their work on the landmark legislation that permitted craft distilleries to sell spirits directly to customers.
